About the Journal

Andalas Notary Journal (ANJ) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Faculty of Law, Universitas Andalas, twice a year in January and July. This journal provides open access to all of its content based on the principle that making research freely available supports a wider global exchange of knowledge. ANJ aims to serve as an academic platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners to publish both research articles and scientific papers.

The scope of the journal covers a wide range of issues including notarial law, civil and business law, land and agrarian law, administrative law and notarial policy, economic and banking law, as well as private international law relevant to notarial practice. In addition, ANJ also welcomes discussions on contemporary legal issues such as the digitalization of deeds, the transformation of the notarial profession in the technological era, and modern legal developments that affect the duties and authority of notaries in both national and comparative contexts.

Authors are invited to submit manuscripts that fall within the scope of Andalas Notary Journal. All submitted articles undergo a double-blind peer-review process, and the acceptance or rejection of manuscripts is entirely the prerogative of the Editorial Board based on recommendations from the reviewers.
